Amazing how you pick up things in my paintings. The winds in Nebraska is one of my most vivid memories of that area and I couldn't have described it better than you did in your poem! The winds do blow across Scotts Bluff
where its stark and cold and grey
but like an icon of history past
on the skyline forever it will stay

Brilliant scene Ginger, I looked at this soft painting and felt the wind on my faceand a sense of history. You really make me feel I want to paint scenes like this.
