- About Me:
- I have been painting off and on for the last 20 years, however it has been more off then on. I have no formal training and know that I have missed a lot because of this. By the same token I feel that the lack of training has been a bennifit to me in a way because I am not bound by the strictures of the formal education. I use the brush strokes that I like and I compose the paintings the way I like them. My goal is to show the world some of the beauty I see all around me every day and hope that some of the people out there will like it as much as I did doing it. My work is called Folk Art and that is also a lable that I do not mind bearing. Since being forcefully retired from a purchasing possition and divorced also withing a very short time span I have had the opportunity to paint as much as I like and have really rellished this. I have two passions in my life anymore and they are painitng and riding my Sports Motorcycle. I find that these two activities give me a high like nothing else I could ever hope to obtain by an other type of stimulant. I hope that people will enjoy looking at my work and would not be insulted if some of them would care to buy some also.
