About Me:

Jamie’s artwork features brilliant color and strong flowing lines. She brings to us a spiritually powerful nostalgic presentation of the Old West, often showing the proud people of the harsh distinctive land with its defiant plant and animal life. Additionally she portrays the modern day life of the rich Native American Native and Cowboy culture. She combines a rich stylized impressionistic form with a very real and concrete presence. The native people, especially the strong women, are a favorite subject, though Jamie frequently displays the proud native men or the cowboys of America. With a master’s degree in art from the prestigious University of Wisconsin, she has the impulse to paint from her heart, the natural talent to bring those impulses out onto canvass, and the training to produce elite –level artwork. Jamie’s work varies from portraiture and landscape, to interpretive and abstract images, often effectively displaying these styles together.
