About Me:
Jamie’s artwork features brilliant color and strong flowing lines. She brings to us a spiritually powerful nostalgic presentation of the Old West, often showing the proud people of the harsh distinctive land with its defiant plant and animal life. Additionally she portrays the modern day life of the rich Native American Native and Cowboy culture. She combines a rich stylized impressionistic form with a very real and concrete presence. The native people, especially the strong women, are a favorite subject, though Jamie frequently displays the proud native men or the cowboys of America. With a master’s degree in art from the prestigious University of Wisconsin, she has the impulse to paint from her heart, the natural talent to bring those impulses out onto canvass, and the training to produce elite –level artwork. Jamie’s work varies from portraiture and landscape, to interpretive and abstract images, often effectively displaying these styles together. Jamie’s portfolio is a soulful collection of real-world images in a very colorful style that is identifiably her own. Jhw1952@frontiernet.net

JAMiE Amiga, I guessed, I highly internalized via the life of the original inhabitants. Although I live in a metropolis like Buenos Aires, which some compare historically with a European city, in fact I am quite separate from the countryside around this great city, like all big cities in Latin America, it forms a suburban belt of poverty and exclusion. Urban belt that is who receives the country's poorest people, who crowd the periphery of the city. At the periphery, are installed people who are the heirs of those originating from the Argentine provinces and neighboring countries who are not as well: Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru. This situation leads to the inhabitants of the metropolis, a feeling of segregation, xenophobia and racism. From the fifties is one of the great social and cultural problems, the process of integrating these two cultures. Some Argentines, in their ignorance say, "that fate, we must thank God that in our country there is racism" ... say this while they exercise it with its closest neighbors, the marginalized in the suburbs, originating displaced. I leave a greeting kiss and tell you that despite seeing only a picture of yourself, I guess you are very beautiful, congratulations.

Hi Jamie, good to great, beyond the letters and read that you establish contact. Until now it was all very distant. I imagine this is important and as we know each other, imagine you live in a rural area far from pollution and to restore dedicated channels with native peoples, landowners. A contradiction, a woman so fair and delicate in her features, up to honor the race that proudly above our peoples. Will they? live in this moment?
