- Hi there, my name is Jan van Baarle. I was born in Delft, the Netherlands, 1957.
now I'm living in Baarle-Nassau.
Our village Baarle is ONE village consisting of two different municipalities; the Dutch municipality of Baarle-Nassau and the Belgian municipality of Baarle-Hertog.
The Belgian Baarle-Hertog consists of 22 enclaves completely surrounded by the Dutch territory of Baarle-Nassau.
Baarle-Hertog is in fact the sum of all the Belgian enclaves in the Netherlands.
So you can see my second name is the same as the village.
I love painting so much.
My interests are: Art, my 5 cats, my guitar, my lovely wife.
My favorite music: Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Golden Earring, Yes, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Grand Funk Railroad.
I hope you have fun with my paintings.

I love your floral and still life photography but your paintings are what really captured me.
