Movies And Car Shows

Watching movies with a wash tub full of popcorn is a favorite pasttime of mine. We have watched a couple of good ones today. My nephew Andy Duevalle has been working on a camaro restoration. I'm not sure of the model year. When I saw it, it was painted white with a finish like glass so s… Continue

Getting There!

I got down into the basement studio today. While I did not accomplish much, I felt like I had, just getting there. I treated an oil painting started several years ago and cleaned two of my airbrushes after clogging them to the the point short of exploding. Removing the head assembly of an airbrush that was left full of paint about a year ago and used several times since can be a problem! Doing a much needed disassembly and cleaning became necessary. Okay! I know better than to mistreat my equipm… Continue

Falling Down

I have a myriad of diseases that while dibilatating and irratating to me personally so far have not kept me from my computer, my camera or my artwork. I wobble and fall down somtimes getting injured. This occurs when I am extremely tired or have had a severe headache. My studio is in the basement of our home and the stairs did not have a railing. For what ever reason I had no trouble going up stairs without something to hang onto, but going down I would loose my balance and end up in a heap at t… Continue

Not sure whether you mentioned where you work or not. How great to have a job that is in the art field!

Thanks for explaining your demonstrating and teaching procedures. $30 an hour in the '70's ... wow! You did good!

Yes, that style is very similar to mine. Did you enjoy demonstrating? I've only demonstrated at Art Fairs and that type thing but even though I've been asked to demonstrate at Painting Clubs and Art Guilds, I've never done it. Do you charge or do it free gratis?

Thanks for sharing your beautiful image you painted on that jacket. Did you have it "printed" onto the jacket or did you paint it directly on the jacket itself? Gorgeous. Unfortunately, I'll have to delete the image from my page since my computer is slow and it takes forever to load and there's already so much stuff of my own on it. I just deleted an image from Phil that was so HUGE that it took forever for it to come up! I still live in the Dark Ages!!! Also, I don't want the public to see other artist's work on my page and think that they are my art and expect great things from me that I can't deliver! You sure do have exceptional talent.
