I then took a digital image and put it in software, blew it up and redetailed it removing the over pixelations...I blended and added more color and they became poppies...
at the time I was getting tired of winter, all muddy and icy where I live and looked dreary caught between seasons. My daughter in California sent me an email with a pic that was a field of poppies and said she just spent alot of money on the picture. I asked her why buy as all she had to do was ask me I would have done a painting for her!! She replied , " you dont do poppies, Mom'.. so the glove was down.. I did Poppies and sent her copies and made all sorts of renditions of it.. lol.... have a kid say you cant do something, HAH~! I showed her....lol
